It's not untrue. Average child birth with prenatal and post-partum care is $8,802 in the US. Do you know of any undocumented people who have had a child here have paid that much? I don't want to be insensitive so just your anecdotal evidence.

I get offended when people continue to use "anchor". The term is derogatory and it's not even based in fact. Citizen children aren't able to sponsor their parents until they are 21. There has been no proof established that there are people crossing over the border illegally for the sole purpose of having a child in any significant numbers.
You're somewhat on the right path.

The difference is that these tourists from Asian countries are deliberately exploiting the 14th Amendment and owning up to it with no shame, unlike the majority of other illegal immigrants who deliberately come here to have children and pretend like they AREN'T trying to exploit the constitution.

So let me get this straight: you come here illegally and then on top of that you decide to have children here? I don't buy this whole bullshit about being offended by the term "anchor baby". We're all adults here, come on.

Yeah, don't try to kid a kidder! And sure, they can't sponsor their parents till they turn 21, but they qualify for all sorts of aids from food stamps to medical care. If DAPA ever gets moving, they will get other benefits too, while those who didn't have kids are still without an anchor. How is that fair?

For those who came here as adults, I've always felt it should be an all or nothing deal. Either they all broke the law and should never be forgiven and live their lives as slaves, or they should all have a chance at life provided they jump through some hoops and show they really want to be here and make things right. Not being familiar with birth control should not be a free ticket.

In my world, that would be more fair, but then according to the lawyers, the reason why the could get away with it is at some point in the future the kids could sponsor them hence, the "deferred" part. But hey, mozltof to them and I wish DAPA would get going but the point is, they have no right to be offeded by the Anchor if the term is fitting.
