Assuming they still assign expiration dates that way, my guess is that they will try to approve new EADs as close to the expiration date as possible to minimize the amount of time shaved off.
It has never worked like this, even for Green card renewals. The day of approval is the new date of expiration, period.

Select the "Case outside normal processing time" option and take it from there.

An inquiry is a request sent to a service center to get information of a case and an infopass is an appointment to an immigration office to request information in person.

Thank you. I will try and get it done sometime later today.

That was simpler than I thought. I submitted the inquiry, so now I play the waiting game.

I mean, we've been waiting. But you guys get what I mean! I'll report back as soon as I get word.

My EAD expires on 09/11 and I'm yet to receive biometrics... I'm really freaking out now. Only received receipt of notice.
I started a new job in January and they haven't said anything to me yet... During my first renewal I worked for a fortune 25 company and they constantly sent me notices.

Yeah... that's exactly what I said. Don't know where the "it has never worked like this" came from.
