Your EAD should be approved shortly. It should've been at the same time; maybe there's just a system lag.

When should we expect our I-797 to be uploaded to ELIS? When should we received our EAD in the mail?

I think that depends on your HR. Technically, you need the actual card but it may be good to show them the approval notice if your expiration date is very close - just to let them know you're in good standing at least.

Congrats! That's super close! Please update your info on the spreadsheet. Do you have to wait until your actual card comes in the mail or is your HR able to be lenient?

They haven't even mentioned it so I think I will just give them the card when it arrives. Either way, there will be no lapse in employment authorization literally by a day lol

My boss and HR was fine with a screencap lol. It does depend on them. We know when it expires; it's two years from the day before your approval date (i.e I got approved 9/8/16 and so exp would be 9/7/1. Correct me if I'm wrong.
