^About to do the same, got my n426 signed over a month ago but being careful with this decision, Imma just do it.

I thought long and hard about this and figured what do I have to lose? plus I keep hearing that all MAVNIs will ship in 2018, heck even the USCIS officer from the field office handling my parents' DA case called me to advise me to just apply since I am eligible regardless of pre-bct status under the INA 329.

I decided to drill before Basic. Can anyone explain the process for getting carded? Is this done at my unit's home base or can I anticipate this before our next drill?

depends on whether if your unit has id card machine or not. if not, they would refer you to somewhere else.

Got a call saying my CI interview is scheduled for July. Rumor is we could ship within this year if all that goes well - now I'm probably gonna hold off on the n400 so the case doesn't get moved around (guaranteed delay for naturalization)

They mentioned that there will only be 7 locations to do CI interviews and a three day event. Someone please give insight.
