I did not date my photos. And I translated my own birth certificate. All you have to do is certify that you're fluent in both the language of origin and English. Don't forget to sign the statement!!

How did you package your photos? Did you print them on regular sized paper (like 4 photos in 1 page) or something else?

Scanned 6 onto one page in color. Then took the individual photos with me in case the officer wanted to look a them individually. Our lawyer felt that was the best way. The officer appreciated it being so organized.

5 pages max. Of pictures throughout our relationship. You definitely don't want o overwhelm the officers with stuff. That being said, take extra just in case. But the evidence you turn in should be solid. The old quality vs quantity argument.

We did take our wedding album. Officer didn't ask for it, but we joked that my wife will show it to anybody that asks about it, so we pulled it out and showed it to him.

My lawyer has yet to call me to sign the forms, it’s been over a month!
Also my wife and I married at the court, we didn’t take many pics and our families weren’t present. Do we really have to show an album with pics of us? Living together and sharing bills/loans etc is not enough?

Nobody said you have to. It's just part of the evidence package I sent. Although I can't imagine they will hurt. But like I said, my package was 30 pics max and the wedding album just so happened to be ready by the time my interview came up. When I sent my original package, all my wife and I sent as proof of marriage was the marriage certificate. For the interview, our lawyer had us prepare bills/pics/etc.

Finally mailed my package via Express Mail! I requested for a signature. Now I am concerned because it says my package is ready to be picked up at the Chicago Post Office. Is this normal? They actually go pick it up if someone wasnt available to sign?

i think that means that it has not been delivered. Maybe it takes some time for the system to get updated.
