Chain migration changes are dead on arrival.

Democrats need to stop with their "tough talks" and start showing some action. Talk is cheap!

I'm thinking they will go with provisions from Flake's bill since it incorporates the two. Unfortunately, what I worry about is the Republicans doubling down on their other poison pill demands. At the very least, the Dems may agree to changes in the DV system. "Chain migration" is another issue and in all honesty, any changes to that must be addressed along with a broader CIR package.

We can fix DACA in a a way that beefs up border security, stops chain migration for the DREAMers, and addresses the unfairness of the diversity lottery. If POTUS wants to protect these kids, we want to help him keep that promise.

I don’t see anything wrong with that. Ending chain Migration for us is easier to swallow than ending chain migration for all. Most of us will end up adjusting via marriage in a few years and this won’t apply anyway.

Dude our parents are going to have to wait for a reform yes it fucken sucks but beggers can’t be choosers simple as that yes it’s sucks but hopefully in the future they’ll get a reform .
