Wife and I got an email from the National Visa Center (NVC). Looks like we can finally start towards the final process of AOS. How long does it take to hear back on the I-601A waiver? Sounds like anywhere from 9-12 months?

You should be hearing something in the month or so.

From what I've heard, most the applications are currently receiving a response between the 9-10 month time frame.

Good luck!

What's your age? I think it will take your mother a LOOONG time (6-7 years) to sponsor you.

Dang, you missed the best category by months. Y'all need to send the petition as soon as possible cause it's going to take years before you can get a greencard. There's no status aside from "out of status" you can have in the meantime though (aside from DACA).
