Hello fellow Dreamers, its been awhile...hope everyone is living life to the fullest.

So I had some questions below, if anyone can kindly provide some info.

Curious if anyone got approved for DACA without sending in the 2 passport photos?

Trying to save myself a trip and some chump change if it is no longer necessary.

Also, has there been any significant or obscure changes to the renewal process that I need to know of, or does anyone have a link to an updated checklist of the process?

Thanks.

Also, I just noticed that they are processing renewals within a 120 day timeline? Should I avoid sending my renewal around the 150 day mark, and wait for 120 days?

EDIT: Nevermind, that seems to be their timeline estimate of processing once you send in a renewal it seems.

People have reported successful renewals without including passport photos. It's still listed as a requirement on the I765 instructions. Do it at your own risk.

The renewal process is pretty much the same. Make sure you use the latest forms.

Submit a little before the 150 day mark.

I submitted every application aside the very first one without passport photos. Only time I've ever seen an RFE for passport photos was for an AOS case for an 11 year old kid.

Basically if you are over 14 year old (which basically all of us are), they'll take the ones from biometrics.

Got it, thanks, I will be submitting this week, which is around 145 days before, so hopefully that is fine.
