As Dreamers, we have everything to lose and very little to gain, desperately searching for any glimmer of hope. Sadly, the Democrats have not provided that for us. We have been nothing more than political pawns in their game.

They had 4 years, and they didn't even make an effort. Just as they always do when they are in power, they introduced an "immigration for all bill" knowing it would not go anywhere and would be dead on arrival. Not even Conservative Democrats would ever consider voting for a Citizenship for All bill.

It is disheartening to see that all the promises made to us and the immigration community have turned out to be empty. It appears that they are more concerned with catering to organizations like United We Dream, who are only looking out for their own interests.

Their extreme demands for Citizenship for all, abolishing ICE, and open borders leave no room for compromise. It is clear that they are not interested in finding real solutions, as their priorities lie in maintaining their donations.

You can sit here and say "Republicans are worse," but the reality is that unlike the Democrats, the Republicans have made no promises to us.

Yeah I can blame them. One party is incompetent so you put on your silly hat and go rooting for the one that wants to throw you out. It's asinine.

No one is wearing a hat, but it can also be said that the majority of Dreamers will not tolerate being treated like animals on chains. This is how some feel the Democratic Party has treated them.

The amount of copium you all are puffing at is revolting. Your desperation has made some of you the worst versions of yourselves. So sad to see. Seek help.

Your sprit and soul is going to be utterly shattered when the racists in power fail to give you your green card.

Thanks you for providing the FACTS.
The desperate, blind fools on this forum will twist it in some way. Trump could appoint the worst humanity has to offer and people here would still be giving praise and find a way to think it's a good thing. Funcking brainless clowns can't read the writing on the wall.

This is the problem at hand. You actually believe that the Democratic Party is heading in the right direction. The majority of the country voted to express their concerns, yet you are disregarding their voices.

The Republican Party won the popular vote, a feat not achieved since 2004. Despite the fact that they have made progress with Latinos and other demographics and have increased their voter turnout in traditionally Democratic states, you find it inconceivable to criticize the Democratic Party?

This type of mentality is the reason why the Democratic Party will continue to experience losses. Ignoring the harsh reality of the situation will only lead to further setbacks.

I'm not pro Democratic party, sweety. I've been saying all along that Dreamers cannot trust any politician and have been very critical of the likes and useless efforts of Dick Durban.

But I'm not going to turn around and give myself up to the Republican party either or to the will of US voters. You're putting so much stock in the majority of the country. Honey, the majority of the country are stupid ass people, msot of which are racist and can never accept the idea of a woman president... that's why we're here. And it's not like a country's population hasn't ever allowed or actively facilitated a leader to take power that was ultimately not good for the country. Did you go to high school and take history classes?

You're a stupid ass. Trump has all branches of government and is putting vile humans that think we are eating dogs and cats in power. You all are hoping under the pretense there will be deals and negotiating to get a permanent DACA solution, but there won't be any of that since he's got what he needs. And dems are not going to give Trump ANY victory on immigration if they are ever needed.

There is no faith there. Find your own solution. Stop completely selling out what little integrity and virtue you have just so you can try to get yours, when all you're going to get is nothing and worse. Yet... most of you have no idea what integrity and virtue are.

You should be embarrassed.

^ theres no need for this, bro. I respect your opinion, man but theres no reason to attack other members. We can differ in opinions and how we all cope with things.

The whole calling people racist, misogynist, and stupid is why the left lost. Nobody cares about all that, man.

We are all just trying to get by. Again, brother. Im not attacking you. I get your point and frustration.

It is evident that you are still not comprehending the situation. While a significant portion of America may have voted for Trump in order to maintain their majority, it is concerning when he starts gaining support from minorities and winning over traditionally Democratic states. This should be alarming to you.

Can you imagine how the American people felt when they were facing financial difficulties and Democrats were sending money to Ukraine? Or when New York was providing free accommodations and food assistance to immigrants who had no interest in working? Do you honestly believe that resonated with them?

While people were struggling, the Democratic party was too preoccupied with implementing woke policies. Whether you agree with it or not, that is the reality.

No one expects the Republicans to solve all of our problems, but after being held back by the other side for decades, people are searching for hope and positivity. Will it come? Who knows, only time will tell.

Furthermore, resorting to name-calling when someone disagrees with your views is reminiscent of MAGA tactics. Perhaps you should reflect on your own behavior before criticizing others.
