As long as they get started with the debate and then vote right early next year.

HCR took a long time also.

This is meant to *discourage* activism for CIR.

Yesterday he said the votes for Dream Act are there; today is this. Reid came up with that op-ed yesterday claiming that they can only move this with Republicans, and according to him, the more of them there are (ie, after they gain seats in November) the better for us to get immigration reform!

Someone (ie, Obama) is telling them to put the brakes on this - and they shouldn't. They need 60 votes to overcome a fillibuster; but only 50 to bring it to the floor. The problem is the Democrats.

i don't see we will have any chance on 2011 and 2012 because after congress election, i am sure Republican will gain more seats, and we all know they are anti-immigration, so we are going to fuk up if they don't bring the bill on the table this year!!!!!!

Dems may lose some seats in the elections but House will still be majority Dems. and we will gain some Rep support in Senate even if Dems aren't majority in the Senate.

DA User i love your insane optimism but lets be real here, republicans are the the assholes in this case (not all but most of them) who honestly would want to get rid of everyone who isnt a white hillbilly protestant who cant find USA on the map

Republicans will gain seats; Dream act and CIR will fail.

CIR 2010 = FAIL

Dream Act 2010 = Pass!

I am being real. We only need 3 more Reps support and we have the 60.

Anyone have the exact list of Reps in Senate who do support Dream Act?
