Boths sides should try be moderate. I have seen post of both sides that are a bit extreme. I myself try show some restraint. I sympathize with those who support Trump, even though I myself cannot support him. I do agree Chyno and others might take it a little far. So my advice to both sides is to try to keep our discussions on a moderate level. Do not let the stupidity of politics polarize us as it has polarized most of the people in this country. I believe we are better than this.

This will be helpful, we need to help each other and not insult one another.

We have dreamers from all the glove, Mexico, Argentina heck even India dreamers here so I am surprised these people would be supporting trump. Let's not speculate they say yet here they are crying that trump will legalize us because that isn't speculating.

I am not arguing he WILL. I am arguing there is a chance he might. Different story.

Also lets stop speculating saying that Trump will be deporting us and ending DACA! How about that! Because we are scaring a lot of young Dreamers and families coming on here for information. And let people support whoever they are supporting. That's none of your damn business.

Except you're supporting a racist liar I would be supporting Hillary but she's out of the picture. Doesn't mean I'm turning over to Trump

Immigration issues aside trump is a horrible man with no real clue on how to make America great again. He's normalized racism and white nationalism. Some of the fellow dreamers have internalized that racism and normalize the candidates behavior because of the white power structure. In other words y'all some D riders.

No, immigration issues cannot be set aside with your last statement. Some of us are perceived to be rallying behind him because we are hopeful he will push for relief. He won; now, we MUST work with him, especially since he seems to be demonstrating a willingness to cooperate on the issue. I have not normalized or internalized anything. Indeed, he is a hugely imperfect person. My only hope is that he pushes for immigration relief for the sake of OUR COMMUNITY. But, if we follow your implied line of reasoning, maybe we should all refuse to work with him and wait 4 to 8 years (very possible he can win re-election) with you until America elects a more likable or leftist candidate THEN and ONLY THEN can we work together on immigration. Viewing politics from a GLOBAL or UNIVERSAL/ALL-OR-NOTHING perspective will not help you, your family, and our families.

Whether you like it or not, we (and our "representatives") have to come to the negotiating table with him if we want a chance at relief. HE IS DEMONSTRATING A WILLINGNESS TO DO SO. Telling him to f**k off and telling him we will never work with him because he is a misogynist, racist, and conservative asshole is suicide. That is the reality. But, we can always be idealistic and just wait in the shadows 4 to 8 years. :- ) -____-

I don't disagree with your logic. I just hate the thought of this man leading this country. It really goes to show you how idiotic rural America is. Anyways, my hope is that he leaves DACA alone. I do not expect a pathway to citizenship to come from Republicans. By the way, congress has more a say in our legalization than he does. I just hope they realize they need to secure the latino vote now that they are becoming a dying party. 2018 and 2020 elections in mind they should act soon.

I agree with you. He was not my first choice at all. I lean conservative, and I wanted Hillary to win with a passion precisely because of DACA.
