^This. Try to avoid those type of places. Lucky for my parents, unlucky for me, I am the only "undocumented" in my family. FeelsbadMan.jpg

Ice went to ice to take someone with a crime the Portland sheriffs had tipped them. However, while they were there they started to ask people there either employees or people waiting their legal status. They didn't take anyone because aside from their original target no currently there at the time was here illegally

I don't think you realize what is happening now compared to past. Yes, in this case they were after criminals supposedly and Obama did this too; however, there is no longer any difference between criminals or the guy washing dishes at a restaurant without doing anything else wrong.

And yes, there was uproar against Obama but it was misplaced because he actually drew a line and told homeland security to not go after people who aren't criminals.

And even when obama was doing the "same" thing ice was deporting almost half the people they detained with out seeing a job and the majority of them didn't have records at all

I can guarantee you THIS happened because agents scared and intimidated people into signing away due process rights. This has always been the problem. "You have to sign some forms to get your wallet back." (when in actuality people were signing/agreeing to deportation).

Yeah gotta be vigilant, it's okay to be nervous.

I also agree with this though:

I agree with this person

People. These ICE raids happened *ALL THE DAMN TIME* when Obama was president. This is actually "normal" - not scaled-up deportations.

Also this article http://www.alternet.org/immigration/...e-nationalists

Obama did deport tons of people including non-criminals, especially between 2009 and 2013. We just never heard about iton the news.

At this point this is a personal choice. If stupid and idiotic to think we are all getting deported as it is to think we are fine and there is no way Trump can touch us
