To my understanding, you can get another benefactor (US Citizen) to support your mother. That person would need to show proof of income.

My brother will be 21 by the end of 2019. He will begin his sponsorship process after he gets a job. Please let me know how the process goes with your mom.

The only stickler is the financial affidavit. The rest is even easier than marrying a USC since he's considered immediate family and she came here on a visa and not EWI.

Take note of this those of you who want to end "chain migration".
