If dreamers don't like this bill then we might as well start pushing for CIR. Because we are not going to get a better deal than this. Personally I think is fair for both sides. Specially if we are getting citizenship out of this. 10-12 years. Subtract your 5 years already in DACA that leaves u with 7 years remaining.

Good to see level-headed people with common sense.

Agreed.

So please explain which bill will get traction? Because the White House isn't going to sign onto any liberal DA and the House is sure as hell isn't going to bring up a bill that doesn't have Trump's blessing. This is a fair bill to both sides.

Honestly the arrogance, name calling and condescending nature of some of these posts have to stop! If someone has a differing opinion than yours that is okay too...... just because we are all dreamers doesn't mean we all think the same.

How did you arrive at this being fair bill to both sides?

She would not be able to adjust under these guidelines. It's gonna piss legal residents and natural born ones

They are not going after sanctuary cities and they are not implementing mandatory e verify. We are also getting citizenship all I'm exchange for a damn wall and cuts to legal immigration and sponsorship. Compare this to the Goodlatte bill which was literally our only hope a couple days ago and get back to me.

No...
Citizens would be able to sponsor their spouses and minor children.
His mom would qualify in that scenario

This is pretty much the consensus I'm seeing on Twitter. Dems and most moderate Republicans are not going to like the cuts in legal immigration. And considering what happened today with the House Reps, they will need their votes to pass anything.

The Black Caucus will not support this either.
