I'll tell you guys right now that there was never any chance of a standalone Dream Act being put up for a vote. I have no idea why you guys are being so negative right now, the only way this would ever pass is if it's attached to something bigger, which seems to be the play that Democrats have chosen.

DACA is on the "To do" list with a deadline attached to it, however, it is not the priority at this moment.

Have any of you been through a fuckin hurricane?? Let me tell you, it sucks.

Congress is not going to sit around and chat immigration while thousands if not, millions of people including elderly, disabled, and children are displaced and in shelters because their homes are inhabitable.

It's going to take time though to assess the damages and the relief needed. Congress isn't going to know what needs to be in the bill until that is all done. It's an excuse to delay DACA hearing, especially without rescheduling it quickly.
