she even quoted a commercial and she's like , "I won't trust my doctor to do my dental work so why should I trust you, a student, to do a lawyers...

hahaha this made me smile :) unfortunately, Filipinos are really concerned with status and reputation more than anything . All I can do now is say oh well .

I live in California and no I do not have a criminal record. I do agree with you guys on everything with the steep price especially but my mom is one stubborn bull and I cannot change her close...

I'm using one of the well known Filipino immigration lawyers
and paying $3800+filing fees. I know it is a rip off but my mom has the ultimate decision and refuses to listen to me :(
