As far as resigning the ITIN goes, I literally went straight to the IRS office downtown to do it in person. I didn't trust doing it by mail.

I got the tracking number just a few minutes after I posted that! Haha. I need to learn how to be a little bit more patient.

But yeah, USCIS gives you the tracking number on the Case Status page....

Yes. I believe they will ask you for a SSN no matter what. So I would apply for a SSN, get a printout whenever you can, and then head over to the DMV.

Have we heard of anyone being approved quicker after a transfer? I have a feeling that since we just got transferred, we're going to be put behind other -more recent- applicants at the Nebraska SC.
