The first time I traveled with my green card they asked me how long I had been a permanent resident, how long I was abroad, and my dad’s first name. Those were the only questions they asked me.

That's so strange, my Aunt just renewed her GC and it was approved the same day she completed biometrics. I wonder if has to do with whether the application was filed online vs. mailed in.

I applied on 03/12/2015. Check cashed 03/31/2015. Walk in Bio 04/25/2015. Approved 07/22/2015. If you apply before the 3 years exactly you will get your application denied.
