I still think/dearly hope either an executive or legislative solution will be found before the deadline but this bill's as wishful as it can get. Even dems controlling all branches may have struggled...

Yeah and also which line? Need a family/employer sponsor and depending on the country they are processing 1995! For some countries like UK, Australia, and others when the line is shorter it is fine....

Looking at how things went down last couple of days, wouldn't be surprised if they say right to protest doesn't apply to anyone except citizen. And every non-citizen there is subject to a felony...

also, super thankful for daca by Obama but these EOs and others already signed show exactly how it needs to be done! Go big when you get the reins, looks a missed opportunity in hindsight.

yeah, not being pessimistic but from what I have seen in rest of the EOs incl. legal immigration- relatively speaking keeping EAD cards is a softer tone in itself- that's not saying much. Hopefully...

Problem I see with option 1 is it has to be instantaneous ie. they rescind the order, pass the bill. If time passes, things run super slow in congress and won't be surprised if they come to a halt....
