My renewal process is finally complete! Starting with application being sent to EAD on hand. Here is my timeline:

App received: 5/26/2016
Bio: 8/03/2016
EAD Expired: 10/08/16
EAD approved...

I think it's unlikely but I hope I am wrong. I was approved on the 19th, card was produced on the 27th. Still waiting to receive it.

Quick update on my case!

EAD approval was on 10/18 and my card was produced on 10/27. So it looks like it should be here next week. There's no tracking # though but it's fine as long as it gets...

Yes! Same for me! My boss really wanted me to get back to work ASAP so he's okay with the notification that my EAD is being produced but wants me to bring the physical copy ASAP. Hopefully it won't...

Just an update. My DACA was finally approved.

Here is my timeline

Application received 5/26/16
Biometrics: 8/03/16
EAD expired: 10/08/16
EAD Approved: 10/18/16
DACA Approved: 10/19/16...

If I remember correctly it was only valid for a month. I didn't activate it right away because I thought it was a waste of time. But I was able to make an account myself a couple months later.

Yes, try calling early in the morning, they are also much nicer, since it is the beginning of the day. Tell them your case is out of normal processing times and that your EAD is about to or already...

It is up to you. Legally, you are not required to tell your employer that your EAD expired, that is their job.
