I read in an article that the House will vote on whatever the latest version of the senate bill is. it is very unfortunate for those who missed the age cut off.

.... are you creating multiple accounts and responding under each one.... I could have sworn you posted a comment earlier and had this same avatar, and that comment was your first one, just as this one

so about the 180 one can be outside the country. the bill says there will be certain exception like the death of a family member or for those serving in the military. But what about if we want to study abroad? i think that a lot of these prohibitions are being made last minute and with out much thinking. hopefully this bill will pass, but the democrats are really messing up.

text is now available on govtrack at
http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=s111-3992

or more specifically

http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill...bill=s111-3992

as I mentioned in the past the advantage of this site is that you can immediately see all the portions where the law refers to other pieces of legislation for support. Just right click on the blue links and select open in new tab or open in new window and you may get a better understanding of what the DREAM Act S.3992 really covers and requires.

I'm really sorry to hear about cases like these, because if it wasn't for guys like you who were the veterans of the dream act in the early 2ks, we probably wouldn't have been able to fully open the door and get the exposure you guys gave us. In my opinion, i feel like people who had already graduated from college, etc should have had a higher priority since many of the 20 yos are still finishing college which buys them time, and you guys are older, therefore more desperate. Sorry guys, I really do hope that it passes, and that you guys can find loopholes to apply and benefit.
