Thanks, Ianus. From that statement you posted, he sounds like someone we can persuade. My only concern is that he might become too worried about alienating his constituents in conservative Alaska. If elected, he must be on the list of senators we really need to focus on if we want DREAM to pass.

The myriad of new senators coming in makes me a bit eerie with so many known supporters of DREAM leaving their current posts. Now it turns out that even Hillary may leave her senate seat to become the next Secretary of State...

Thats exactly what i was thinking of myself. hopefully who ever replaces Obama,Biden, and maybe Hillary have the same views on Dream.

Those junior senators who will soon replace Obama and Biden better vote yea. Otherwise, we will be in big trouble.

It worries me, I don't want Hillary or John Kerry to leave their senate seats, because they are those sure votes for DREAM or for anything that may benefit immigrants. But even if Hilldawg leaves, I don't think New York will have a new Senator who does not support DREAM.
