Today on Univision there was a segment on the DREAM ACT and the reporter said that the opposition is really making the effort on making calls AGAINST the DREAM ACT. So I think we really need to make those calls and emails and faxes.

The segment was around 6:50 pm PST channel 34 Univision.

they are such disgusting individuals, if they really loved their country they would focus on all their energy in helping their nation in other issues... but they just love themselves.

cuz they believe that we are taking away from citizen students. Heck, if they said pass dream act with no financial aid then Id be all over it. I dont need their financial aid. I just want a chance to work and go to school, and I can do it on my own.

exactly, they should remove benefits of finacial aid from the DREAM Act. I am willing to work and pay for my education.

I think they shouldn't do that, they shouldn't take any financial aid out, even though I wouldn't care neither, I would just work and pay for my education as well.
I guess if they take the financial aid part, these anti-m will still be all over us, and we know this from previous experiences. And later they will want to take the path to citizenship, then, everything else..
It doesn't matter, that is just one more argument they put in, but it doesn't really matter, they will still make something up. So the only thing that is actually on our hands is to keep pushing, and to get more sens on our side as well as more reps AND more people, meaning, keep calling, keep faxing, keep meeting, keep sharing our stories. Don't let the ant-immigrants put you down. get up and keep pushing, specially you ariana88 don't let them put you down , after all, this is our country too, so we should fight for our rights to-be, that is how Americans do historically, that is what we need to do.

If Martin Luther king, would have let, the red necks take this away, take that away, we would still be in slavery. So we know how that works, and where it will take us. We need equal rights, because We Are All Equal,
"All Men Are Created Equal" - Thomas Jefferson
in "A Nation Of Immigrants." - John F. Kennedy

We only get loans and work-study.

Let's not start the financial aid debate again. Senator Durbin has chosen to keep it for a reason and I'm happy he has. Right now, focus on calling and leaving messages urging your senators and representatives to support the DREAM Act.

Okay any type of financial loan support or whatever, just get it out of the picture so the opposition can stop bitching about DREAM Act taking their tax dollars. If I have to I'll use my good looks and strip for horny elderly women and take victory laps.
