how do you get a health card?

ok so i went mcdonalds today and got an application

Apparently I need a health card how do I get one if I;m well you know.

If you are talking about the southern nevada health card? I could of got mine 2 ways. You either show them your certified birth certificate and bank/ debit card w/ photo id. (pls. note names must b matching on both docs, if not they will not accept it). Or you're birth certificate, and a valid foreign passport, (they only accepted mine, b/c it was re-issued here in the u.s., since i got mines at the embassy, u must get a recent foreign passport, unexpired with your recent photo.

*applying at any franchise fast food place is something we don't highly condone, here on the forum, but more so in vegas, there has been already 11 mc'd's in the city, that has been raided by ICE, fyi.

then were should I apply?
I don't know many people on manager positions so I don't know where to apply.

craigslist, thats how i got mines. just keep looking. It takes time, and a lot of patience trust me. usually local business's will post their ads. most of them would like to meet you in person, to size you up, and know you're work experience. Its a big city so, it is up to you, on where you would like to look for a job, getting around sometimes can be confusing in this city. But craigslist, is always a first option for me. If not, just go around some local stores in your area and ask if they're hiring.

* it is very true, that this city is pretty much not what you know, but who you know. but just b/c you don't know any manager's, doesn't mean you can't get a job. My past two jobs, were strictly, on they're first impression of me. So make sure you look/sound smart and responsible.

most adds on craiglist are all for henderson or south vegas...I live in the NORTH NORTH

but ill take your advice.

yes i have a valid health card. like i explained on my last post. you need those docs. please elaborate on the birth certificate part you do not get?? what i mean by birth certificate is, a consular birth of abroad. meaning something certified. the full list is here. if you do not have a valid state DL/ID, then you will need 2 docs, on the list

*please be advised, in no way, should you be giving the health dept, fake id's/docs, as you're proof of identity, b/c they are trained to catch that, and its a county dept. so they do work alongside with metro police, in a sense they are the cops of for local restaurants, b/c if your biz is dirty and not up to par wit regulations, they have every right to shut you down.

I'm from the philippines and i just wasnt sure if i should use my birth certificate and passport since my visa is expired. i'd like to add that i made that stupid mistake of going to the health department and doing just that. It was a very stressful yet humorous experience haha. the look on her face was priceless and it was truly one of the most embarassing moments of my life
