Has anyone else gotten a PM regarding gettin' a licence? It seems pretty fishy to me, the user has only 3 posts. I'll post it later on but I want to make sure I'm not the only one. I dont want anyone here to be spammed.

But anyway what I'm here for, I GOT MY DL! oh man, many of you may recall that I was pulled over a few months back so I decided to do something about it, I was not gonna take the bus anymore knowing that I'm paying for my damn car!.

Let me tell you all, it is the best feeling in the world! (next to sex of course)
I will post more details later on because I'm real tired. Hope you guys have a good summer because I now have an ID to hit up the Clubs!

Hey Txgal it really depends on when yours is up for renewal. As of right now in TX they are still awaiting this case to be heard in court since DPS has appealed the decision to retract the legal presence rule DPS set up so it might be a while

Only options left to get a drivers license as stated in these forums are NM and WA

Well, my dad has his SSN but when his license expired last Nov, they still wouldn't let him renew his license until he showed proof of documentation.
For now, your only choice is to drive with expired license or not drive at all.
Hopefully, there's some kind of solution some time soon.

I have a SSN, except it says I'm not allowed to work anymore, would that still be okay?

In regards to other identification I have: a student ID, high school or college transcript, a translated birth certificate, and of course I would get a lease somewhere in IL if I decided to try this. Could anyone that knows tell me if this would be okay? Thank you in advance!
