Apparently some asshole southerner called Congressman Stupak a "baby killer". Classy.

Add that to teabaggers calling Congressman Lewis a nigger, and Congressman Frank a faggot and that's Republican values in a nutshell.

Final touchups and its going to Obama. I don't think this hurts CIR/Dream Act at all.

Democrats won the reconciliation... now its going to be on Obama's desk with Obama's pen on Obama's hand, signing His NAME... today we made history... i just hope CIR runs as smooth as HCR but with shorter debate length.....

Okay, there are two bills related to health care reform: the main one, and the one with the budgetary "fixes."

The main bill needed 60 v0tes in the Senate and 215 votes in the House. Tonight, that bill has become a law. The other one needs 215 votes in the House but only 51 votes in the Senate. The House also passed it tonight with 220 votes and now it goes to the Senate.

OMG! I saw this on Fox News just the exact moment it passed, it was f-----ing epic.

It still has to be sign by Obama to become law but obviously he will sign it, but it would be freaking funny if he just decided to veto it out of nowhere :P

Can't wait to see what lies ahead for immigration reform. President Obama said this would pass and it did. If President Obama says immigration reform will pass then it shall, I hope.

He clarified that he was calling the healthcare bill a baby killer, not Stupak.

Or maybe he was just trying to cover his ass, who knows. Still doesn't make up for those other comments, though.

Which doesn't even make grammatical sense, not to mention it's factually unsound.
