Here is the link to the full article. I also checked c-span.org and politico.com but I didn't see anything new or anything that was mentioned today. we will keep an eye out for it.

I notice how there isn't any outrage really from Gutierrez et al, the whole CIR camp. Or even the President; just a shrug of the shoulders. The DA should have been retintroduced in March after they decided not to pursue CIR.

So I thought the DA HAS been introduced already many years ago? I also thought that ever since it was first introduced many years back, it was always just waiting for senate/house debate/vote? Or..is it that the DA basically went down the toilet when it was voted on 2007 so now it has to start the process all over?

Why were so many people arguing that Reid should make this a standalone if you guys think this is not a good news? Is there a totally different process? I am confused..

I believe it has to be re-introduced for every new congressional year or something like that.

Bills die if they are not voted in a congressional session.
As someone mentioned earlier in this thread, it should be debated and voted in the Judiciary Committee. If the Democrats really intend to pass it either before or after the elections, the Committee should not be a problem. But, I'm not sure whether the Democrats really intend to do it. There is simply not enough time before the elections, and I doubt that they will be more willing to pass it after the elections, especially if they lose a lot of seats in the elections.

I called twice today to express my views, I know not enough, but we have the number, if we all pledge to call Reid's office x 10 a day , we would flood the line. This thought is very light, can't think logically at the moment, just kinda in awe we see traction on this again. C'mon guys we are close, keep going, Dream Act Now. !!!!!!!!

Oh if its in the committee then we have a lot of work to do, none the less we should still keep trying.

Yes, that is what I heard. The Democrats should demand that the only way they will consider renewing any Bush tax cuts is if the border is secured--by deporting Malkin and her parents.
