Hey everybody. I know we are not suppose to assume who will vote yes or no. But do you guys think it will come down to the votes from the two Nebraska sentors and senator Lugar and Bennett?

lugar has been a strong supporter but don't count on the republican senator from nebraska mike johanns (not ben nelson the democrat) to vote yes. he won't vote yes

I mean even getting Dream to get voted on during lame duck seems a little hasty, imagine a whole immigration bill
I'm not 100% sure if Menendez in his own line of reasoning truly believes he can pass CIR during the lame duck session. I think he is either...

1) blinded by his passion
2) doesn't give a rat's ass other than garner Latino votes
3) has some special in-side knowledge that the public doesn't

I don't think he's some super cunning politician so I'll go with 1.

His greed and short sighted thinking is making all of us pay. CIR WILL NOT PASS. NOT IN THIS DECADE. DREAM ACT CAN PASS THIS YEAR, only if we do it the smart way.
