Raising the age limit is not very sensible since most people graduate at 18 and would easily be able to get those 2 yrs of higher education or military service out of the way

Somewhere on this site i read the dreamers would be 27-28 soo we could always lower the age limit to that, or maybe have a seperate amendment that would allow exceptions to the age limit if these people were original dreamers or if they would graduate high school early

I know, I was just trying to make a point. Lowering the age limit would leave a lot of the people who have been fighting for the DREAM out. Since the poster is 17, I was wondering how they would feel if we raised the age limit instead.

Oh, i see... well we could always tighten the age limit and maybe add an amendment that would give original dreamers exception to the age limit... if there were a way they could somehow prove they were original dreamers.

"Raising the age limit"???

That makes no sense.

Currently the Dream Act requires you to have came to the U.S. when you were younger than 16 year old.

Raising the age limit only include more people, which is exactly the opposite of what the Republicans want.

If you have a student visa, well then at least you have a path set for receiving residency eventually

If I were Sen. Reid I would not compromise for shit. DREAM alone is a compromise. smh at you people wanting to lower the age limit to exclude those who are the true fighters of the bill.
