I use to take driving classes in Camas, Wa. The driving schools let people rent their cars, in my case!

^ yup. i would suggest looking up driving schools close to whichever dmv you plan on taking the test at. it has multiple benefits. not only do you take a quick 1-2 hour class and are better prepared for the best, but they also let you use the car.

People... have you not read how extensive the background checks required by the DA bill will be?

It is illegal in most states to apply for a driver's license in a state where you do not actually reside. How to do suppose to explain that you attend school/work/live in, say, California, but somehow you have a recently dated WA license? I tell you this as a long-time WA resident; it is not worth it to intentionally violate the law when it can affect you negatively as is very likely DA will pass soon. Hold your horses and very soon you just may have your license from your actual hometown.

true, everything we do right now, it is a risk!
