Let our Good Reid & Durbin do the dealing on this, they know our interest and I trust they would work with our thoughts as they try to garner the votes, I think the house version is very strict, however, I have not yet read the version. The House version has all the things you mentioned and more. It requires us to pay a fine as well. The House version is even stricter than the Senate version, the Senate version is the "watered down" version.

The republicans have the votes to kill it so Reid tabled it in cloture so it will give them more time to try and get some additional votes. You need 8 republicans to flip or some of the democrats to flip there vote.

Quick question since there is no need to have cloture on this bill since it is a conciliated bill from the house wont they need just a simple majority like 51 or is it still 60. Because if you think about it they aren't voting for cloture or to end debate they are voting on an already finished bill.

A simply majority (51) is all that is needed if Republicans weren't hell bent on filibustering everything that moves through the senate, but since common sense has been thrown out the window and this incarnation of Republicans will filibuster, then we need a super majority (60) in order to get business done in Washington.
