Well said, Eddie! I agree whole-heartedly with your opinion. It will happen when Americans realize that the Republicans do a poor job in the House this year. I hope that Americans either vote for Democrats or vote for an Independent party in 2012.

Border security + legalization as the same bill. No more piece-meal (or at least keep the two paired). You want one more grunt on the border? Prepare to hand out some green cards.

Piece meal is the only thing you might be able to hope for coming out of the house at least for the next four years. Deportation and treating everyone to the exact letter of the law will come also because of the TeaParty.

And of course the irony of the Tea Party opposition to anything but enforcement and strict regulation - is that on every other issue the "Tea Party" is AGAINST Big Government - it is their central rallying cry.

A slight possible ray of hope could be if the public/established politicians become aware of the Tea Party crashing and burning in 2011, and then are desperate to court back Latinos and Moderates.

Tea party changed the game they gave so much money to politicians that now they want there payback and if they dont get it they have the power to get you out of there. They only lost three races they wanted to replace the candidate and won 60 in the house that is power. I am not for far right republicans and I am sure not for a party that could never see the middle from were they are.

I think it is important also not to lump the Tea Party types in with all of the far right. Many of them are okay with gay marriage, or abortion, or other issues that are usually considered to be "left". Many of them are also very anti- large corporations/ wall street.

Many of them seem to be more libertarian over all - very anti big government ( they want to get rid of the Department of Education for example ) . But for some reason, with all this libertarianism - pull yourself up by your bootstraps - they are very anti immigrant as well.
