hey guys, i was wondering if i can get my driving permit for under 18 year olds without a social security number? but i do have my passport, birth certificate from the Phillipines, and my HS Diploma (if that helps).

i am currently considered an illegal immigrant from the Philippines (hopefully that will change soon ) and i am need of a reliable transportation to school, I managed to purchase a decent vehicle, but the problem is, that im not legal to drive, and if i did drive and got pulled over, most likely my car will be towed away, and have to pay a ridiculous fee just to get it back, im already having trouble keeping tabs on my tuition.

My brother, who recently got married, and now has a green card went and took the test, but he told me that they didnt ask for the social, and he told me about something he read on the form he was filling out saying something about "check this if you dont have a SSN".

So dreamact.info? is it possible?

first of all, asan ka ba? if you're in cali you cant drive if you dont have any legal documents. unless you're in washington state or new mexico then you can't get a license. Even if you had a passport they'll look for your I-94, i believe.

i live in west covina, ca. I was wondering if is it possible to get a International Driving Permit from the Philippines shipped here. Any legal driving permit is better than nothing.

Im from west covina,ca and filipina also. Its so difficult getting around the city or to school when you dont got a drivers license. I was thinking of getting an international licensed shipped here too. Do you have any idea how much that would be if you got it shipped here?

I find that it is better to obtain a driver's license from the P.I. than an international driver's license, because the cops would only recognize the actual license, and not the international one.
