Do they not ask wether you are a us citizen, legal resident, student visa, etc?
What do they put when they apply?

I told them the truth, that I am undocumented. Not much of a problem in NY State. Most colleges will give you in state tuition.

I would recommend you making an appointment with an advisor, and never giving up on your dreams regardless of how distant and cloduy they might appear.
I was in your same situation after graduating from HS, I applied for scholarships and I haven't paid for a single penny for my basic engineering classes. Community colleges are definitely the best place to start your career.

Wish ne luck @ UT Ausitn

Good luck at UT! I was thinking of applying there, but I wouldn't have the money to live away from home.
