@ Ali - I've been talking to some students doing their masters and they tell me to take the easy courses but my ego is telling me to take the difficult ones

@ jrpallares - Apply to grad school as soon as you can! I hate myself for wasting so much time after I got my Bachelors. Also, an undocumented youth once told me to ask a fellow grad student to put his/her name on the check and then give it to you. He said this worked for him. I don't know if I could do that though. I am going to pay with the money I saved and my parents are also going to help me. PM me if you have any more questions. Are you in CA by any chance?
I'm not suggesting to take the easy way out, just balance out the hard courses w/some of the easier ones on your 1st semester. If shit's all Calc & Diff'l Eqn. based like mine were you tend to have lost a lot of it going in, not to mention the adjustment of going into school mode takes about a month :P

Does anybody know if they will take the matricula consular as a form of i.d for the GRE? I saw on the website that they are really strict on this.

What do you mean put their name on the check? I don't have much money saved up since I haven't worked in awhile. Where were you working? Yeah I'm in CA.

-Good advice Ali!

- I plan on using my Passport. A couple of friends told me they do not accept the Matricula.

- I guess the check is in the other student's name but you get the money? I am not sure. I did not go into details about this with him. I tutor and work in a lab.

Yeah, I used the matricula without any problems. This was about a year and a half ago. Good luck!

I'm surprised that worked because the official rules state that you must use your valid passport if you are taking the test in a country that you are not a citizen of.
