Yeah guys im giving up life is just to depressing for me. cant let my youth go to waste by sitting home everyday doing nothing. Im going back to my home country of haiti pretty soon and from there see if i can get a visa to Canada or Australia. If that doesnt work maybe i'll just become a hobo anything is better then living like im in a prison.

Do you already have your degree? Good luck to you in Haiti, I hope you come back and keep us informed on the forum.

Don't Give up.....STAY if you can....don't leave unless you really have to....or if you have it all planned out...but i wouldn't suggest you to leave for the sake of leaving..find something to do...keep yourself busy...stay out of trouble....and just have PATIENCE.

BTW if you are from Haiti, didn't you qualify under that Haiti TPS....seek a lawyer for more info you might qualify......

In the end its your decision, and all our situations differ....
Instead of leaving the country, why don't you move to a different STATE...its like 50 different countries here...move to a different STATE...you never know things might just change....

If it were any other country I'd say do what you want, but I actually think it is a bad idea on returning for multiple reasons.

I think a much better plan would be to seek out TPS if possible/applicable and see if it is possible for any Canadian mission/embassy OR Australian mission/embassy would be willing to give you the visa while here considering you would technically be legal !

I agree. Conditions in Haiti aren't the best right now, and I wouldn't recommend going unless you have a set plan in mind. I don't know what your circumstances are currently, but you may actually be better off here, than there at the moment. Do you know what the job prospects are? Possibility for education? It may also be super hard to get a visa to another country. At least make sure you have some type of degree before venturing out. Seek advice before making final decision. I know it's hard for us at the moment, but like previous poster mentioned, try to keep yourself busy and set short and long terms goals for yourself. That's how I've been keeping my sanity at the moment.

I agree with most people here. I don't think Haiti is going to be any better....

Haiti...wow that's a tough one. I wouldn't go unless you already have your degree and you know you can make enough to live in a secure location...or if you have enough saved up.

But so far Mexico has been cake, no major complaints, just some nusiances here and there. I can even get all of the NFL games on satellite if I shell out 1600 pesos for the year
