We all are more curious as to how the hell did you get a corporate job without a ssn or a work permit? Or even a driver license? Didn't they ask you for one of these atleast in the interview?

I think you should pull him aside into a room, and lay it on him. Don't let him pull it out of you. Start off explaining your story, how you are really sorry, and you decided that it is best to be honest not to get him into trouble. If he digs it out of you, he's really not going to like you and it will kill him as a future reference

UPDATE:

I let him know today of my status, asked for some of his time and if we could speak in private, and I let him know that I cannot get a Card because of my legal status in the country, I let him know that I was raised here and I that I apologize for having misled him and the company. He thanked me for letting him know and he said that he can work with me and that everything is going to be OK. I did break a little while the conversation he advised that I take some time and go for a walk before I come back , then he called to make sure I was OK while at my desk. I do not know what tomorrow will bring but I can breathe better for now. Thanks everyone for the support and keep going guys and ladies.

That's a relief. Maybe you can get petitioned or something. Your boss sounds cool. Keep us updated.

wow bro very brave of you. Someone like me would just abandon the job if given that kinda situation. My boss knew from the start about the situation and never since have we brought it up again.

Thanks all for your comments, i had no other choice but come clean, for the moment things are back as "Normal" can be, taking it day by day, let's hope Dream Act soon passes, I can't see them dragging their feet on the issue for much longer we all hope.
