there's a shit load of jobs here for dreamies. I used to make 14 dollars an hour working at a pizzeria whne i was 19...and i used to get 10 in mcdonalds a couple years ago. It's not hard to find a job without papers...it's just a matter of keeping it. I sadly can't study and work...*not that smart *

You could probally go to the Occupy Wall Street and run errands for them, like ask the trust fund babies if they want McDonalds then go fetch it and charge them. Or you can sell them coats and baby wipes.

You know what I would do? I wouldn't sell drugs, but I'm sure there are smokers there, go pick up a box or two on an indian reservation and sell packs to them

For girls, it's pretty easy to get a job as a nanny. I've always been able to find work consistently through craigslist (pay is about 15/hour). There are lots of odd jobs/gigs on craigslist. I recently found one a couple weeks ago, working for a woman needing assistance (pays 50 bucks for 2 to 3 hours). Just have to actively look through ads. You can get a good sense of who is willing to pay off the books (or find out during interview). I've also had friends who have worked in private doctor's office, for moving companies, etc. Without connections, craigslist has been a good resource.

If you can't find a job in NYC, it's not because of your status, it's YOU.
