I did not hear him mention Dream Act but he did talk about a bill that would basically do the same thing, surprisingly there is a loud, standing ovation. I am not holding my breath.

Mccain just sat there and put a stupid face!!!

I don't agree with those hating on McCain's expression. I think his face was that of support. Deep down in his heart he supports CIR or DA, yet that support didn't bring him anything politically as the Hispanic community turned his back on him in the last presidential election.

Yeah, McCain does support DA. It's just hard for him politically to say it. He did back it before the Reps got their britches in a bunch because a black guy became Commander-in-Chief.

McCain can go to hell. He could have rounded up at least the 5 votes we needed back in 2010. I watched it live and he was celebrating when DA failed.

I didn't see McCain's "Yes" on last Dream Act senate vote.

McCain does not support DA.

Good example of a person who supports DA is Lugar, not McCain.

Alright. We'll see what will happen in 2012 and when Obama or whomever gets in. I just can't hold my breath any longer, it's a bloody heartache waiting to happen. But I am curious to see what definition we'll have.

By the way, it was not the lack of hispanic support that cost McCain the election. It was his decision to nominate Sarah Palin. Now that I think about it. It is really funny that people back then thought Sarah Palin would be the GOP front runner. Come November, Obama will win by a big margin and he will do something, maybe not as CIR but at least something to help us out.

Always have a back up plan though!!! Every single one of us needs a back up plan!!! We cannot sit here and just hope, we need to do something for ourselves!!!

I didn't mean to say he lost because he didn't have the Latino vote but rather point out the fact that voting yes for the dream act wouldn't have made a difference and at best, would have only brought him political suicide (He represent Arizona ) for a community that doesn't support him anyway. Don't get me wrong, I'm also pissed he voted no but that don't mean I don't understand why he voted the way he did and that he does support the DA personally.

I loved it when he said that. If CIR is not possible, atleast do something for these students.
