Um, this is airing on Univision, pretty sure Americans aren't gonna watch.

Guys, this was a total fail whale. UGH.
So I got there, right. I was even early.

The word spread around so several groups of dreamers came so we could all speak as a group, and film the "reaction" and "feedback" about the president's recent order.
I was like alright, the more the merrier.
I even heard that they where doing several of these? Maybe some tomorrow too.

Long story short, I didn't even get to fuckin talk.
What did they get on film? Well, what we always see on T.V.
Thick accent, all that. Not all of them where like that but most were.
It was a bit awkward, I stood out like a sore thumb.. I guess cause they know each other from before.......but it like was seriously one weird eyebrow away from a chola fest.

I am not sure if they are using it all, or just bits and pieces of it...so it MIGHT not look that bad on TV but who knows.
Maybe I am just being harsh, but not only do I feel like they don't represent us as we really are, but they sounded sort of dumb.
I mean, what the president did gave us a ton of relief, but we are all aware this is not a permanent fix, right?! These people where pretty much like "This solved my whole life".
*palm face*

So disappointing.

Let's start a PSA saying "if you suffer from the following:

Thick accentitis
Foreign flag waiving syndrome
School droptosis
or
Ungratefulness

Please refrain from jumping in front of a camera to represent thousands of people. This PSA brought to you by dreamact.info"

That's a bummer. I can understand how this would solve one MAJOR problem (work), and possibly take care of some other ones if we can get an ID with this permit. But still, how disappointing.

I'm wondering why there weren't more college students and graduates invited to talk.

I am not racist or anything... Why can't we get people with Ph.d's or Masters in anything to talk for us??? There are plenty of us with such things. All this people from highschool are so naive. No offense but they have not shown that they are much.

Stop showing Mexican people on TV!!! Have some diversity, Asians(including Indians), Europeans and Arabs would show that it is not just the Mexicans "invating" the country.

idk i mean... i find it kind of pointless. Who other than Hispanics watches Telemundo/Univision etc wouldnt we already know whats like to be illegal? well i guess there are a lot of citizen Hispanics. The only ones ive met are in Florida though... and are mostly Cuban lol. im not trying to diss anyone, its just my sad truth.

There are lots of citizen Hispanics and there are many that would be against this new policy.

Yeah, mostly the hill billies who are legal. I hate those people. They give people from my country a bad name. They cannot even speak spanish and they listen to horrible music, dress and have no education. AGHHH Do not even get me started on this.
