DA User,
I'm so sick of you!! Immigration coming to beat the door down and get you, I was too busy working ,trying to keep my head above water, paying taxes and into a social secruity that possibly won't be able to receive. Yes I was breaking the law, but at least i was not getting paid under the table. Stop pointing fingers at others, every one story and circumstance is different....

Yeah, not having a 4 year degree is not only the Dreamer's fault, many states don't offer in-state tuition. You don't work or get the same motivation while working on a degree that you know you might never be allowed to put to good use.

Retroactive counting with respect to what? Meaning that the person was 30 or under when the dream act was first introduced? Or 30 and under when they finished college?

I am just going by the Dream Act bill though. I really want to see CIR/DA pass at the same time. How would you feel if you actually qualified for since the inception date of DA bill in 2001 only to find out in 2010 that the Retroactive was removed?

Do you know there are people who were going to full time college and working full time?

From age 18 to age 30 is 12 years to achieve a 4 year degree. I think that is fair don't you think?

You don't know that you will recieve SS or not yet though. There could be a SS Reform.

I know about each individual's story is different and people here think that 30+ Dreamers should go elsewhere. What do you think about that? By the way how many more hours/credits do you need to get the degree?

Sorry, I did not mean to hurt your feelings.

I think from age 18 to age 30 is enough time (12 years) to get any 4 year degree
I can complain if 4 year degree after the 30/34 age cap was not a requirement. So I am just going by the DA bills from start of 2001 to 2010.

drvenom : It means let's say the Dream Act bill passes tomorrow and the age cap was 30 and you were 31 tomorrow AND you had your 4 year degree from the USA then you qualify!
