Thank you, you've been a huge source of great information to all of us. I have to get my documents in order, I've been procrastinating for 2 days.

I am going to present my matricula I.D., passport, and a translated birth certificate just to be on the safe side.

So if you have a matricula consular (but not passport) they will take the matricula as a form of ID. What about a college ID?

I don't know about Spanish, but usually it needs to have some sort of certification or notary that the translation is legit. Otherwise you can just ask your cousin to change info.

Wow people are really out there to make money out of DREAMers...

That is sad you think that way. Birth certificates are not money makers. It is a service. And we know how clients arrive at the last minute sometimes because they need to submit applications of all sorts and comply with very specific immigration requirements, deadlines etc.

So, congratulations to those of you who are being proactive.

Get it done professionally and you have one less reason to worry about.

Agree completely,I'm thinking the mods are gonna have their hands full over the next year or so.....not to mention possible scams are could be an issue here.

No thank you, I will just go to my old French professor who holds a Ph.D. in Latin American and Iberian Cultures. She said she would do it for free. Or,I would do it my self. Sad really that people are lazy to find a real career. Instead they live translating documents from a language they are fluent in since infancy. At least learn a new language!!!
