Is it true i have to go ask not to be deported for my working permit?
Will I be deported ? Am I Going To Need a Lawyer?

I'm 20 Years Old
I have no criminal record
I have been in the US for 18 years
I have a HS Diploma

Deferred action is the same as asking not to be deported. Yea you're a perfect fit to apply for DACA don't worry, but if you're insecure get a lawyer.

A deferred action grant valid for 2 years is technically a "2-year reprieve from deportation", as has been described by the media. We renew it every two years, as long we continue to qualify (for now, just don't commit any crimes), and as long as the policy is still active. So, yes, this is why we're still pushing for the Dream Act to pass -- with DACA, we'll pretty much be living our lives two years a time. We're still thankful for what we did get, though.
