This year was the first year I ever worked, but I didn't make much, less than 2k over the last 7 months and I no longer have the job. None of that money made it into my back account and the only money recorded there is the monthly money my dad used to send me. Should I bother to report this or just write 0 in the income section since that is what I am making now?

Bump! i have the same problem too. For me, however, i did not attend summer school so i decided to work. I only made like $3,500 for two and a half months. Should i bother mentioning this on the I-765ws income section?

Please help us.

Here's what my lawyer put down for us (I'm in high school still).
Income: 0
Expenses: 12k
Assets: 0

Then he wrote in the bottom something like that i needed to work because I'll be going to college soon and that would cause incurring debt. I don't nearly cause 12k to my parents but this can be made true if you had like monthly expenses such as (these are estimates): xbox live ($15), tv/internet/phone ($120), food ($100), recreation ($100), clothes ($50), medical conditions expenses or something ($200 and beyond), etc.

Btw, i hope to hell our lawyer submitted enough evidence for us because he didn't use all of the report cards and used none of the certificates i had throughout 5th to 10th. He seemed like a good lawyer and he was also handling like 4 other deferred action cases.

So the big question regarding the I-765WS is whether we lie and claim we make no income- for using a fake SSN or working under the table- or say the truth, which can be considered fraud for using a fake SSN. Its a CATCH 22 you guys.

^ I would put it because it is income. I think someone said recently it was decided in court that working with a fake ssn (as long as it doesn't belong to someone else) isn't considered fraud. I asked my dad's lawyer about this worksheet, his advice don't lie and don't go to much into detail with explanation because they don't ask for proof.
