jrpallares, originally I wanted to work at a non profit think tank that deals with immigration policy. I am really interested in looking at how policy is influenced by rhetoric and how certain rhetoric influences particular policy approaches.

I am hoping that if I qualify and receive the work permit through DACA it will open up more doors. Thus I have decided to apply to some public schools.
Yes, Stanford is really difficult to get into, but if you you atleast the minimum gpa required, you might as well go for it.

I was considering a Ph.D in political science. But, I have decided to go for a terminal Masters in Public Administration.

Nope, masters program. I did get the CA Dream Act Grant for next semester!

That's so cool guys! Unfortunately, I finished my masters before the CA Dream Act kicked in so I did not benefit from that.

And smooth I too received my Masters of Public Admin!

I recently left the state and miss CA, but hopefully new doors will open up when I apply.
