so my question is, i left school when i was in the 11th grade when i was 17, i am now 19 going on 20 this year, am i still able to apply? will my school accept me back to finish my remaining school years?

has anyone out there been in this predicament?

is there any solution for my problem?

i am in new york and my lawyer said he has already gotten 10 dreamers approved

You have a lawyer and he can't answer this question for you? Please tell me you haven't given him any money and leave him ASAP.

You need to be In School at the time of filing. You need to enroll in an adult school to take classes towards a GED.

to answer your question no i haven't

he told me i have to go back to school and get my diploma or get my ged

but ged could take 6-1 year he said

he also said i should try to get back into high school because the cut off point is 23 years of age

meaning you cant go back to high school when your 23 years of age

but that's not good enough i need solid answers not "maybe" type of answers.

im asking here to see if anyone else is in my predicament and what there doing to get through this.

I gave you a solid answer.

You need to be enrolled In School. You do not need to have a GED or High School Diploma. You just need to be In School.

Whether it may be with your old high school, or an adult school. Enroll in either one.

I agree with JJ. Get enrolled in a class for your GED and then apply for DACA. Do some research on this forum, ask questions and do it for yourself. I would only advise you to get a lawyer if you have a complicated case- like having a criminal history.

Call your school and ask them if you can go back in. If not just enroll in a G.E.D program and probelm's solved!

Your lawyer is full of crap saying he got 10 people approved. You can just do the 3 forms by yourself. Go to an adult school to get your GED. An acquaintance is doing the same. He already sent his stuff with an enrollment verification to get his GED.
