Oh yea, you just sent your package so of course you know what you're talking about. Seriously, if you don't know anything just stfu.

I just read my letter again and it says in bold with caps:

PLEASE APPEAR AT THE BELOW APPLICATION SUPPORT CENTER AT THE DATE AND TIME SPECIFIED. IF YOU FAIL TO APPEAR AS SCHEDULED, YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE CONSIDERED ABANDONED.

This is why I'm telling you to contact them ASAP.

Okay. First, Calm your ass down. I didn't mention anything that I do not have experienced with.
I've been working in a DACA free service program in NY since two weeks ago.
I just filed mine due to personal document reasons.

I had two people missing their appointments by week or two.
They did a walk-in and had their biometrics done. If not you can get a new appointment.

There's more than few people who misses their appointment date due to missing mail or simply their busy that day.

I didn't say you shouldn't contact them right away, do as one pleases.
I'm simply mentioning what I seen from what other people have done.

I hope other people who are filing DACA aren't so rude like you. Would of been better if you followed up with a question for me to answer rather than telling someone to "stfu" ignorantly.

Because people do this all the time. They love to give out suggestions when in fact they have no clue about what they're talking. Plus how can you tell him/her that it's not a big deal when it clearly says the case will be considered abandoned?

Would have been better if you followed up with your experience in this matter instead of making a simple statement.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, just a bit freaked out. And no need to argue.

shit that sucks man. I'm always trying to do the best thing for my family and if something comes for them I put them right on their table but if something comes for me they're too damn lazy sometimes to walk 10 steps to my room and leave the letters there. Trust me I know how you feel. I'm the one that's always doing things for my family when it comes to getting information about something, my sister who's about my age doesn't do shit, she sits all day long doing her make up and her nails and texting her friends, almost two months passed after June 15th and my sister had no idea how to get started. I get you bro.

This sounds bad, but I would disown all of my family members if some BS like this happened to me.

I'm going to pray real hard for you OP. I'm breaking out my rosary beads for this thread.

Okay. I understand. When I made that comment, I didn't think someone would actually go offensive like this.
Next time I will introduce myself and write down my experience before I make a statement. Hopefully you can be less rude to people and just simply ask one for it's source.

You don't have write anything for me. If you are going to give out any information then at least have some concrete information that will back it up - especially when OP is clearly worried in this situation.

@IcanOnlyDream: Alright. No problem. And I understand we're both here for the best. Full respect on what you're doing.

@aggie_dreamer:

Just to follow up

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/to...d-appointment/

This was for another app, N-400.
But same "if you miss your appointment your application will be considered abandoned" Case.

But again, better example was the one I mentioned earlier. Few of the DACA clients had same problem and had it solved the same way.
