True, if she had a bank account she can request the statements from the previous months. And no, it's no troll, she must finish her GED.

If the receipts have your name on them, some partial digits of the bank account/card, and you can back up those purchases with your bank statements, then there's no reason why you should get denied. If anything you might just get a RFE.

People need to stop spreading this lie. USCIS clearly states that a person must at least be enrolled in high school, a GED program, or taking ESL classes.

Oops you're right. Currently enrolled in school is good enough. My apologies.

What lie? huh? do your research before yelling the word "liar" in someone's face. It's rude.

HAHA, way to contradict yourself.

"Are currently in school"

The guidelines are merely stating what kind of people qualify. For instance, people attending high school or taking GED classes, or people who have obtained a high school diploma or a GED. Your reading comprehension skills suck big time.

Guys calm down. It also says currently in school clearly in the requirements you posted. Unless being enrolled in the GED program does not count as currently in school?

This should answer all your questions regarding education. I liked it better when the childhoodarrivals page had all the FAQs directly on it instead of the noob guide.

Well January and December are covered for 2010 but what about in between? She has searched even under the rocks to no avail. That's 10 months with no proof for 2010. She filed her tax return on March of 2012 but for the whole year of 2011 that she worked. So 2011 should be fine. For 2012 she filed her tax return in March, she has another receipt for APRIL and May. Then she has her Ged enrollment class schedule but from August. Please I beg you guys, I need help because so far two lawyers told my dad to not send anything because she doesn't qualify because of lack of proof. My Lil sister is depressed and I wanna help her since those two lawyers brought her mood Down. Anyone sent affidavits to fill in for the gap of a year? She doesn't even proof for June 15th.Thsbks
Try to keep looking there's no deadline. Did she volunteer somewhere? Go to an event? Something might come up. Correct me if I'm wrong but I recall hearing some people say they only sent info for January and December of a particular year. Still I would recommend she gets some affidavits and keep searching. 2011 should be fine because she has proof that she filed taxes. She has proof for 07,08, and 09 correct?

I didn't send in something that had june 15th on it but I did send circumstancial evidence. I sent in copies of corespondence I received with my name, address, and the date of course on it. I sent some for January, April, May and July. I also sent in two volunteer certificates I received for this year. I'm a lil worried of getting RFE'ed but if I do I'll be ready. Btw does your sister have a facebook account or e-mail account. Perhaps she could use that to show she was here in 2010 and this year.
