hey guys, I just received my ssc. I applied on the 7th day and it took 4 days to arrive. I''m so happy it didn't take too long.

Hmm im waiting for my EAD. I know this has been asked a million times but should i wait to apply for my ssn? I was gonna go the day after i receive it.

I went the day after I received my EAD, and I was approved at the SSA office without a problem.

mine was almost 3 full weeks

Sent-8/15/12.Resubmitted-8/27. Vermont-9/7.
Biometrics-9/17. Approved 9/27. EAD10/1. Approved for instate tuition in VA: 12/17/12 !!! RENEWALS so far 9/27/14, 9/04/16 and NOW 8/12/18

So I searched for the SSA office nearest me using my zipcode, and the office they gave says "serves my zip code." BUT there's another one (I searched using a different zip code) that is easier for me to get to by public transport.

Does anyone know if it might cause problems/delays if I go to a different office than the one they gave me based on my zip?

Biometrics appointment letter arrived - 06/26/2014 for 07/11
