You don't have to do anything but sign the forms and repackage everything you sent in a new envelope and send it back to the lockbox.

Keep the "rejection letters" with you.

Make sure to place that green sheet on top of your application. That should be the first thing they see when they open your package.

Rejection and denial are completely different. IDK why people think the title is misleading or w/e
USCIS calls it rejection SO....

But don't worry i resent mine and in 2 days of them receiving it it was already being forwarded to Texas and i got my receipt in the mail the same week.

Aaah i just saw on your timeline that you sent it to Chicago. I sent mine to Chicago also and was "rejected"
Just resend it, you'll be fine

Are you under 18? USCIS supposedly rejected mine because they needed a parent signature on my application
Ummmm....what green sheet? And yes, I am 17 yrs old.

I didn't actually mean to be an asshole towards her. She's rather supportive of me, and is an awesome mom. But I guess I was just pissed because of this whole thing, AND because I could have been a U.S. citizen since I was 13 but she made some stupid decisions.

Did you have to pay the 465 again, if it was just the signature? And did they send back your original document too? what is the green sheet?

Let me explain. I was planning on doing this whole fucking thing on my own. However, in mid-August, my rather uninformed mother decided "Oh, no, son! Let a lawyer handle it!" I tried to convince her not to get one since I had no criminal record and knew how to fill everything out. Yet no matter how much I pleaded with her, she decided she wouldn't let me fill it out and paid $300 for the paralegal to do it.

The paralegal mailed my app on October 12. Yet today I get this letter from USCIS letting me know that my application would be returned. Why? From I-797C Notice of Action:

"You must sign your application in the signature block if you are 14 years of age or older. Your parent or guardian may sign their name in the signature block if you are younger than 14. Your signature or a parent's or guardian's signature in the 'Signature of person preparing form, if other than above' block is not a valid signature for this purpose. Please sign and send the application with the correct fees to the address listed on the bottom of this page."

We pay their firm $300 AND the $465 for the USCIS fees, yet they fuck my application up. Now I will have to wait ages for my EAD. Does it mean I have to pay $465 again? Has USCIS cashed the check? Let this be a warning to all of those filing through a law firm: CHECK YOUR SHIT BEFORE THEY SEND IT OUT! Don't make the same mistake I made.

It's okay, cunt son from a cunt mom that's how I see it.
You are under 18, so just leave this country suffer for few years and try to obtain something to come back here. By the way, don't ask for any help or advice from your cunt ass mom or your cuntie family. You are on your own.

Grow the fuck up you little fucking child.

YES, you did mean to be an asshole toward your mother. You just didn't mean to have other people not back you up on it.

What a poor excuse for unacceptable behavior.

His mom was being pushy by having him hire some paralegal fill out his paperwork. There's always that one mom who's vencinas cousins neighbor down the street filed with a paralegal. My dad tried to tell me I needed a lawyer, I was like fuck it I'm grown and I'll take care of my shit. I got my application approved in 19 days and now I have my SSN. Sometimes you just need to ignore their ignorance and do shit by yourself.

If I was in charge on reviewing your case, I would deny you. Calling your mom a cunt? but of course you are still a little boy that doesn't know anything about life. Wait till you get a job and bills, you will cry for mommy again. Idiot.

or MAYBE his mother knew theres only 1 chance to apply..if you get denied, that's it.
So she thought it would be best to have an expert handle it..instead of her immature child.
